14th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) In the early hours of 14th January, police officers patrolling Queensway in Admiralty encountered a suspicious woman near 38 Queensway. When approached for questioning, the individual reportedly refused to cooperate and allegedly struck one of the female officers with an umbrella, resulting in facial injuries.
The injured officer was subsequently taken to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment after regaining consciousness. Following a preliminary investigation, police arrested the 66-year-old woman, surnamed Au, on charges of “assaulting a police officer” and “failing to produce identification.”
