In her post on the local Facebook page, Hong Kong Moms, Chiu stated, “My boy is 8 months old, and the greatest decision I made is that we moved to Shenzhen.” She emphasised the advantages of her new environment, where children have ample opportunities to play together and grow up in a social setting filled with outdoor amenities like swings and slides.
Chiu expressed concern over the lifestyle of children in Hong Kong, claiming that “almost all kids are at home the whole day.” She argued that children require at least three hours of outdoor activity daily to benefit from sunlight and social interaction.
