8th January 2025 – (Bangkok) Following the recent case of Wang Xing, another Chinese actor, He Junmin, has reportedly gone missing after travelling to Thailand for filming. He was in Bangkok on 3rd January to work on the series “Drug Enforcement Female Officer” when he lost contact. Actress Shao Yifan revealed that He began responding to messages three days later, but his replies were unusual, and he refused to participate in video calls.
He has reportedly heard voice messages, indicating he was filming in Thailand, and sent a photo that raised suspicions due to the actors wearing down jackets. When questioned about the production details, He was unable to provide coherent answers. His tone during conversations with friends also seemed off, leading netizens to speculate that he may be under duress.
He Junmin claimed he was unaware of Wang Xing’s situation, a statement that has raised eyebrows given the widespread media attention surrounding the incident. Meanwhile, the individual responsible for disseminating information about “Drug Enforcement Female Officer” in group chats is the same production coordinator linked to the Wang Xing case.
Authorities and fans are increasingly concerned about the safety of actors working in Thailand amidst reports of potential trafficking and scams.
